Food cart business in one of the fastest franchises in the Philippines...

(qouted from food cart corner website)

Franchising is the practice of using another firm's successful business model. The word 'franchise' is of anglo-French derivation - from franc- meaning free, and is used both as a noun and as a (transitive) verb. For the franchisor, the franchise is an alternative to building 'chain stores' to distribute goods and avoid investment and liability over a chain. The franchisor's success is the success of the franchisees. The franchisee is said to have a greater incentive than a direct employee because he or she has a direct stake in the business.

A Food Cart is a mobile kitchen that is set up on the street to facilitate the sale and marketing of street food to people from the local pedestrian traffic.Food carts are often found in large cities throughout the world and can be found selling food of just about any variety.

What can you do with Social Media for your Restaurant Brand?

The following are excerpts from famous Authors to Guide businesses to utilize Social Media in protecting and advancing their brand:

(1) Gather feedback from Social Media and respond quickly. Engage in the dialogue. Add links to your response that direct the author to a mini-survey, whose results will have significantly more structure and can be integrated with feedback from your other surveys.
(2) (2a) Create a formal presence on the major Social Media sites and perhaps a few more specialized or evolving sites. (2b) Fertilize and seed third-party fan sites promoting your company.
(3) For customers who answer one of your “normal” surveys with positive feedback, provide them an “easy one-click” option at the end of the survey to be re-directed to one of several Social Media sites where they can share their positive feelings across the SM network.

Starting A Business With A Very Limited Start-up

Most of the request I noticed from the e-mails submitted to me are requesting for a guide in starting up a business venture that is more likely to succeed given their limited resources available. I believe that it is necessary to set up a fund to start your business but it does not necessarily mean a huge sum of money… Let’s say (and I often hear) that we consider doing business because we need extra income… From this common principle, most of us want to believe that doing business would help us earn more to augment our needs and this very principle drives us to start the business venture.
But as entrepreneurs, we know that somehow we need a start-up and even if we are looking at the opportunities with uncertainties, we are still hoping that after we study the scenario we will end up to be successful given all the realities of the venture we are planning to take.
From this end, let me put the factors together for a successful business venture that we should be prepared of.
Very important is the sincerity to take the venture. Think of something that you love doing, an inspiration that you know you can live by. Serious takers tend to succeed and last longer as long as they are doing their passion.
Next is to think of the resources available. Ingenuity is the key; you might be looking at something that is the answer to your success. You just had to recognize its usefulness.
Persevere. Most ventures are hard when starting up. There is no easy road to success; it is always a road of trials, errors and mastery of what you are doing.
Proper review and planning, a guide is an important tool especially if you are trying to master something out of nothing. It totally depends on the ability to foresee and prepare for the possibilities and try to monitor and asses the effectiveness of the outcome.

Remember, there’s always a need for something. Think of a venture to connect the services where you see it is needed, providing that need is your entry to conduct your business.

If you are interested to franchise a business in a Travel Company, all you need is to utilize your personal abilities and get ready for a small start up fee (below 100k). Please contact my email at: iameugenejadia@gmail.com

A Second Look at Franchise Opportunities in the Philippines

For years since the early 80’s, the economic outlook in the Philippines was rather gloomy. Most players in the industry are thinking over many times before deciding on investing or upgrading their investments. The worsening scenario in the business sector brought about by inflation, unemployment and unstable political policies scare the international investors. Yet, the far and overlooked side of it was that, the more difficult the situation, the more aggressive the people becomes to innovate and come up with better ideas to survive. This is where creativeness, resourcefulness, assertiveness and perseverance are expressed in everyday business activities. In this part of the world, every inch of an opportunity was very important and cannot be neglected.

The response of the public to go on their own after a tragic lay-off from jobs or the struggle of a simple housewife to help earn for the family had help the economy by putting up small scale businesses providing employment. But this initiative is vulnerable to the strong pressure brought about by competition and monopoly of big players. It was sad that the survival of these small entities was rough, often forced them to close.

The realization of coming up together would be the best option to play against the bigger and more powerful companies in the very competitive environment. The “do or die” approach is needed for survival of small entrepreneurs and the struggle of small businesses to group in order to have better position in the market. Even bigger companies merge to survive the economic crisis that recently hit most part of the world’s economy. Thus, franchising is one of the best option and in fact, the fastest growing industry in the Philippines.

Obviously, referring to Franchising is synonymous with the successful and very popular franchise of Fast Food companies that are leading the industry. Let’s put it simple, their marketing strategies and its connection to the large part of the population is the reason for this success. They hold a certain “spell” that binds the public into one common jingle. Offering the best value (as it looks) to the market of starving income is most appealing during this time.

The Franchising mode is on beat. You can find franchises of any kind. Of course, you have to keep in mind that the success or failure of your business depends on the factors that you should carefully select and study before considering it. You must know how much time you are willing to invest in your franchise. It often requires the knowledge of the process and dedication to improve. The more knowledgeable you are in your chosen franchise would give you an edge to succeed in your chosen business.

Why You Need New Restaurant Equipment?

"Restaurants are equipment-intensive". It is true that no restaurant can be operational without the needed equipments. In fact, it is always dependent on the kinds of equipments being used that spell either success or failure of the business operation. Equipments are always required from the washing area, freezers, coolers, cooking, holding and serving. The wide range of equipment choices would ensure that you can create the product you had conceived and deliver them just the way you want it. Modern equipments are more sophisticated and user friendly. Your staff would love to handle their task with ease and perfection with the help of your new equipments.

The decision to buy a new equipment should always be consider a priority more than cost. Your decisions would require you to consider long-term over short term benefits that your equipments can provide.

Considering a second-hand equipment is a good idea to start your business but in the long run, it will cost more to maintain and upgrade or worst, if a replacement is required sooner than you expect. Not mentioning the downtime and productivity issues it would create.

Most restaurants always consider to buy new equipments because of its built-in advantages. it will always be a good investment for your employees and customers alike to have these new equipments.
